CC CONCERT: KISS THE ANUS OF A BLACK CAT
Kiss the Anus of a Black Cat (KTAOABC) is the musical project of Belgian songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Stef Heeren. Founded in Ghent, Belgium, in the early 2000s, the band first emerged with a dark, hypnotic take on psychedelic folk — weaving droning harmoniums, acoustic guitars, ritualistic percussion and the prominent voice of Heeren into a unique blend that drew inspiration from the free folk and postrock movement of that time.
Through his early albums If the Sky Falls, We Shall Catch Larks (2005), An Interlude to the Outermost (2007) and The Nebulous Dreams (2008) KTAOABC has cultivated a cult following within the alternative music scene.
With the release of Hewers of Wood and Drawers of Water in 2010, arguably their finest work in their discography, the band surfaced and established itself by crafting their hypnotic folk-oriented sound into proper songwriting forms.
In the years that followed, Heeren’s band gradually expanded its sonic palette, moving towards more electronic textures and post-punk influences with the voice of Stef and their dark psychedelic sound being the core of the band’s work with the albums Weltuntergangsstimmung (2012) and To Live Vicariously (2015).
Kiss the Anus of a Black Cat celebrates the 15th anniversary of Hewers of Wood and Drawers of Water
After some hiatus, Kiss the Anus of a Black Cat, is embarking on a special reunion concert series with his original folk ensemble to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the band’s acclaimed album, Hewers of Wood and Drawers of Water.
The initial vinyl pressing (and cd) of Hewers of Wood and Drawers of Water, released in 2011, has long been sold out and now fetches excessive prices on the secondhand market. To mark this milestone, the album will be reissued in
early 2026 as a limited-edition vinyl on KTAOABC’s own imprint, Kattengat. With this re-release on the horizon, Kiss the Anus of a Black Cat is eager to hit the road once more, revisiting their folk roots and performing the songs that defined their earlier years. The concerts will not only celebrate the album Hewers of Wood and Drawers of Water, but also offer a chance to explore the
full spectrum of the band's career, from their folk beginnings to their more modern, electronic explorations.

Through their own event concept, Flashback Invites, the trio dives into the foundations of electronic music: old school, house, techno, trance, new beat, rave, disco, breakbeat and electro. Not as nostalgia, but as living history. Their Flashback Force edits of timeless tracks are sought after and played by selectors worldwide.
A Flashback Force set is a guided ride through the evolution of dance music, crafted with precision for intimate club floors and high energy festival crowds alike.

With their ’90s Noise rock riffs and primal screams coming from every fibre of their being, IT IT ANITA might seem pretty simple. But if you take the time to really listen, you’ll find some subtle nuances and intriguing depth. Besides seething fire there’s also intense desire, crippling fear, anger and restlessness.
After their acclaimed album « Mouche » in 2023, the next one, recorded and mixed by Amaury Sauvé (Birds in Row, Bison Bisou) will be released on Vicious Circle Records (SLIFT, The Psychotic Monks, Lysistrata) in January 2026.

In 2025 is het 30 jaar geleden dat 'Surgery for Zebra' uitkwam, debuutalbum van Metal Molly met o.a. de Belpop classic 'Orange' erop.
Dat wil Metal Molly vieren met een toernee langsheen festivals en clubs, in originele line-up.
In 1997 was de band ook volop bezig aan een tweede plaat maar door de druk van het succes ging de band een jaar in de koelkast. In 1999 namen ze 'The Golden Country' op, maar heel wat nummers hebben die plaat niet gehaald. Niet omdat het slechte nummers waren, wel omdat de heren ten tijde van 'The Golden Country' een ander muzikaal pad wilden inslaan.
Pascal, Allan en Gino willen graag terug naar the bare essentials: de 'lost songs' zijn oer-Metal Molly songs, met die snedige, hoekige en soms dissonante wannabe Nirvana meets the Beatles meets Weezer.
Die songs gaan nu wel afgewerkt en uitgebracht worden, een eerste single kan verwacht worden begin 2025!
Tegelijkertijd zal 'Surgery for Zebra' als reissue op vinyl uitkomen.
Support van o.a. David Bowie & Therapy, memorabele concerten op Tourhout/Werchter (1996 en 2000), Pinkpop, Lowlands, ... , Europese toer met Gallon Drunk ( =B-ploeg van Nick Cave), debuutalbum uit op Silvertone/USA (label van oa Stone Roses en John Lee Hooker), 'Orange' dat een culthitje werd doorheen Europa en gigantisch veel live concerten. Dit zijn de meest opvallende hoogtepunten van Metal Molly die destijds, eind jaren 90, niet weg te denken waren.
"KALE KLOOTZAK is wat er gebeurt als drie volwassen kerels te veel tijd, te weinig talent voor yoga en een onverwerkte puberteit combineren. Gewapend met gitaren, scheve grappen en een indrukwekkend gebrek aan zelfrespect hakken ze zich een weg door alles wat los en vast zit: de dagelijkse sleur, zuipnachten, brakke ochtenden, liefdes die al op voorhand gedoemd zijn, en als alles weer mislukt, gewoon zelf het heft stevig in eigen handen nemen.
Hun teksten snijden, schuren en slaan soms volledig door, terwijl een moddervette mix van garagerock en (proto)punk alles onder een plakkerige laag herrie bedekt. MC5, The Stooges, New York Dolls? Zeker. Maar Kale Klootzak klinkt als nu. Als vandaag. Als een rochel in het gezicht van je baas.
Geen moraal, geen diepzinnigheid, geen genade. Alleen Kale Klootzak: de soundtrack voor iedereen die het leven soms ook gewoon een beetje een kutgrap vindt."

Hailing from South Limburg (Belgium), Pelace saw the light of day in February 2018. �It did not take vey long before their refreshing sound was picked up by Gratts. This led to a 4 track EP on Gratts' & Eluizes label (Ca$hminus). In the meantime Pelace signed a 3 track EP on Nico Morano’s Atmosphere Records.

CC CONCERT: Pelican Dealer (EP release) + Blue Robin
elican Dealer ontstond uit een gedeelde liefde voor muziek van de broers Jasper en Mats Mulier. Wat begon als een huiskamerproject barstte al snel uit zijn voegen, en leidde tot een vijfkoppige band met Daan Pyfferoen, Michiel Van Acker en Dries Janssen. Hun muziek laat zich omschrijven als eigenzinnige, vaak off-kilter indie rock, met een voelbare, melancholische ondertoon.
Al vanaf het begin van hun ontstaan staat Pelican Dealer bekend om hun sterke livereputatie. Daar werd duidelijk dat hun muziek niet alleen op plaat overtuigt, maar live op een unieke, temperamentvolle manier tot leven komt. Dat resulteerde in passages op festivals als Suikerrock en Kneistival, en in supportshows voor namen als XINK, RHEA, Noordkaap, Customs en Zornik, waaronder twee keer in een uitverkochte Ancienne Belgique. Van een vliegende start gesproken.
Na hun bekroning tot Sound Track-laureaat in 2023 bleef de band in een stroomversnelling. In 2025 verscheen hun debuut-EP Tragic Dancing, voorgesteld tijdens een uitverkochte releaseshow in Het Depot, hun thuishaven in Leuven. Daarna volgde bredere erkenning, met de titel “Belofte van de Maand” bij Radio Willy en airplay op onder meer Studio Brussel, Radio 1, Willy en KINK FM (NL).
Voor Eyes On The Prize (2026) sloeg Pelican Dealer de handen in elkaar met producer David Poltrock. De focus verschoof naar een meer verhalende insteek, ondersteund door een karaktervolle en vaak stripped-down, rechttoe rechtaan muzikale aanpak. Ze snijden thema’s aan als vervreemding, verslaving, obsessie en escapisme, vaak verteld door personages die zich buiten de wereld geplaatst voelen.
Met Eyes On The Prize presenteert Pelican Dealer een nieuwe sound die klaar is om ieders hart voor zich te winnen.

Blue Robin zweeft door de ether van de indie en dreampop. Hun
geluid is een delicate dans tussen melancholie en drama, een
samensmelting die je meeneemt naar een totaal andere wereld. Met inspiraties zoals Florence & The machine, Tamino en Daughter. Als je verder kijkt dan de metaforen vindt je de persoonlijke verhalen van Lore terug. De thema's zijn meestal verbonden met hun queer identiteit.
Het verhaal van Blue Robin begon als soloproject, tot Lore
gelijkgestemde muzikanten ontmoette. Teun Maessen op drums,
Ebe Vranken op gitaar, Axel Ausloos op bas en Finn Vreven op
toetsen.
In mei 2025 brachten ze hun debuut EP 'Pomegranate' uit, met vijf
uiteenlopende nummers en een knipoog naar de Griekse mythe van Persephone.

La Jungle shifts into a new formula and goes for a two-drumkit go-fast!
The duo becomes a trio with their seventh studio album: "An Order Of Things." Nine tracks written collaboratively in Mons (BE), on the banks of La Trouille, the ominous river, and recorded in the woods of Normandy (F). In 2026, Roxie, Jim, and their friend Da propose a different order of things after 750 duo shows.
Double kick, double snare, triple trance. Always dancing.
"An Order Of Things" will be released on April 17, 2026, on Hyperjungle Recordings, the label founded by the band themselves.

Real talent shows itself at a very young age. IBE is no exception: at just 17 yearsold, he began taking the music world—and the hearts of the public—by storm.
After winning an Ed Sheeran cover competition, initiated by Belgian national broadcaster Studio Brussel, with a beautiful rendition of Tenerife Sea, IBE had his big breakthrough in 2019 when he took part in The Voice van Vlaanderen. He won the competition by a landslide.
His victory on The Voice, which earned him a record deal, was only the beginning. Just five days after the final, IBE released his first single, Table Of Fools, which quickly made its way into numerous playlists and shot straight to number one on Studio Brussel’s De Afrekening.
In no time, IBE became a phenomenon. He won over the crowd at Rock Werchter, played an intimate set in ‘The Buzz’ at Pukkelpop, and sold out two AB Club shows in the blink of an eye. In February 2020, IBE won the MIA Award for Best Breakthrough Artist, and at the same time, Table Of Fools went Platinum.
But then the pandemic hit. Shows were cancelled, and the buzz around the young Belgian talent quieted down. In quarantine, IBE finally found the time to take a deep breath after the overwhelming success of 2019—and he seized the opportunity to grow. As he later stated in an interview: “After the show at Rock
Werchter, I felt like I had skipped the process of building myself.”
Over the following years, he dedicated himself to working on his first album, Sweet Love, which was released in 2022. Prior to the album release, singles like Control (which went Gold in 2022), Dumb, and Perfect Storm had already seen success. A packed show in the Marquee at Pukkelpop was one of the many highlights of his successful album release tour. His sound evolved from heartfelt piano ballads to more catchy, energetic, and upbeat pop songs. What remained consistent throughout was his genuine, warm voice.
Once again, IBE took his time—to learn, to evolve, to mature. In September 2022, he enrolled at KASK in Ghent, immersing himself in a creative environment surrounded by peers and professionals. What may have seemed like a three-year pause to the public was, in fact, a three-year journey for the artist—a quest to find
his unique sound and define his authentic artistic identity.
And now again, IBE is ready to emerge from the shade with new music and a new band.

het debuutalbum van Wouter Thijssen dat eind 2019 verscheen. Voor opvolger Broer
omringde Thijssen zich door vaste bandleden Michel Becx (drums) en Sean Willekens (bas).
Dit tweede album pakt uit met scherpe songs en stevig gitaarwerk. Het nieuwe werk, bevolkt
door anarchisten, punkers en andere jonge delinquenten, rekent af met een woelig verleden
en zal in het voorjaar van 2026 verschijnen op het nieuwe label Thorn In My Side Recordings.
Single Wille kreeg reeds meermaals airplay op Meurissey (Willy).

40 Years of Women and Wine
In 2026 vieren The Wolf Banes hun 40-jarig bestaan. Wat begon in 1986 in Lier met een stel rebelse muzikanten groeide uit tot één van de meest eigenzinnige bands uit de Belgische rockscene.
Belpop klassiekers
Met songs als As The Bottle Runs Dry, Mile Away From Here, Fire In The Woods en (Shit I Love) Barbara Carrera bouwde de band een stevige reputatie op. Hun rauwe energie, speelse humor en aanstekelijke songs maakten hen al snel een vaste waarde op clubs en festivals.
Een live-machine
Veertig jaar later zijn The Wolf Banes nog altijd een geoliede liveband. Met hun recente album Sugar Skull en de single Julienne Brunoise bewijzen ze dat hun energie nog steeds even scherp en onweerstaanbaar is.
Jubileumjaar 2026

PREDATORY VOID
Haunting. Punishing. Unfiltered.
Predatory Void ontstond uit een botsing van werelden. Gitarist Lennart Bossu (Amenra, Oathbreaker, Living Gate) begon tijdens de pandemie harder en directer materiaal te schrijven en bracht muzikanten samen uit verschillende hoeken van de metalwereld: Vincent Verstrepen (Carnation), Thijs De Cloedt (Cobra The Impaler), Lina R. (Cross Bringer) en later Kris Auman (ENDLINGR).
Het resultaat is een explosieve mix van shoegaze, doom, hardcore, black en death metal — gedragen door emotionele intensiteit en rauwe kracht. Hun debuut Seven Keys To The Discomfort Of Being (2023) sloeg in als een mokerslag en bracht hen naar podia als Roadburn, Alcatraz en Rock Herk, met een veelbesproken passage op Soulcrusher Festival 2025.
Met nieuw materiaal in aantocht voor 2026 klinkt Predatory Void scherper, gelaagder en nog compromislozer. Intensiteit blijft de kern — maar de randen zijn gevaarlijker geworden.
THOSE WHO DIDN’T
Instrumental. Intense. Unpredictable.
Antwerpse vierkoppige band Those Who Didn’t bewijst dat woorden overbodig zijn. Hun sound beweegt zich tussen dissonantie en melodie, tussen catharsis en chaos. Post-everything, pre-nothing.
Geïnspireerd door bands als Battles, Mogwai, Fugazi en Brutus, bouwen ze hun eigen universum van scherpe riffs, onverwachte wendingen en opzwepende energie. Live vertaalt zich dat in compromisloze shows die hen op het podium brachten met o.a. Crows, SONS en The Messthetics.
In 2024 werden ze als eerste instrumentale band in meer dan tien jaar finalist van Humo’s Rock Rally — een statement op zich.
Hun debuutalbum Maybe Next Year (2025) is een gelaagde storm van urgentie, melancholie en rauwe emotie. Een plaat die niet vertraagt, niet verzacht en niet loslaat.

From 01:00, Opalcontrol takes control of the night and guides the crowd through a euphoric journey of trance and hard house. Drawing inspiration from the iconic eurotrance era (2009–2017), he blends nostalgic melodies with modern intensity and immersive energy. Expect emotional peaks, hands-up moments and a late-night atmosphere where music and crowd move as one.

SEKUSHI — LIVE AT CAFÉ CAFÉ
Deze Belgische topband strijkt neer in Café Café om hun nieuwste album Sekushi III voor te stellen aan het Hasseltse publiek.
De voorbije jaren ging het hard voor Sekushi: hun debuut Sekushi I + II was in no time uitverkocht en overal waar ze speelden, veroverden ze harten én dansvloeren met hun unieke mix van groove, psychedelica en underground flair. Voor hun nieuwste plaat werkten ze samen met onder andere Lara Chedraoui en cultfiguur Rudy Trouvé.
Verwacht een sound die ergens zweeft tussen Khruangbin op snelheid en Altin Gün met extra pit — dansbaar, eigenzinnig en intens live. Sekushi staat bekend om hun energieke shows die geen seconde stilvallen.
OMAR DAHL
Omar Dahl combineert Arabische en Oosterse melodieën met elektronische beats tot een atmosferisch en dansbaar geheel. Live vloeien synths, blazers en snaarinstrumenten naadloos samen tot een meeslepende set.
Met hun nieuwe EP Traum (Laut & Luise) en de single “Bunkum” zetten ze hun kenmerkende stijl verder: organische ritmes, warme melodieën en een hypnotiserende flow die je moeiteloos meevoert tussen ontspanning en dans.

In 1991 brak Nirvana definitief door met het iconische album Nevermind.
35 jaar later klinkt het album nog steeds urgent, rauw en tijdloos.
PACESHIFTERS, één van de sterkste rockbands van Nederland, draagt Nirvana al jaren zichtbaar in het hart. Al meer dan 15 jaar touren ze door Europa, bekend om hun intense liveshows vol spanning, explosie en een verpletterende climax.
In Paceshifters Play Nirvana brengen ze een krachtige ode aan Nevermind en de nalatenschap van Nirvana. Verwacht geen integrale albumshow, maar een selectie tracks van Nevermind, aangevuld met andere onverwoestbare Nirvana-klassiekers.
